    At Luckey's, we believe in educating our customers.  The more you know about quality, the more you will appreciate the fine jewelry and services that we offer.  Our online-store intentions are to provide the same in-store quality jewelry and service, where purchasing is made easy for those who can not get to our store.

  • Where is your store located?

    Luckey's Jewelers is located in Houma, a small piece of cajun country, in South Louisiana.  You can find us near the Southland Mall, at 105 Bayou Gardens Blvd. Houma, LA 70364.

    Our former downtown location was part of historic Downtown Houma, which has been listed as a significant historic district on the National Register of Historic Places.  Our unique landscape and historical buildings have been used for documentaries, movies, and reality shows.

  • What are your business hours if I need assistance?

    Luckey's Jewelers' typical hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday, 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and we are closed on Sunday and Monday.  We adjust our schedule accordingly, during low or high volume holidays.  If you need assistance, please reach us at 985-872-3336, on our website /contact/index or on our Facebook Page  https://www.facebook.com/LuckeysJewelers/

  • Do you design and create custom jewelry?

    Yes, and it’s one of our favorite services to provide. Here, you are only limited by your imagination. Whether you have a collection of pictures to pull from, a sketch, or just an idea, we have the ability to make your jewelry dreams come true!  

    You can even use your own old jewelry's stones to create a new, revived piece you'll love!

  • Do you repair jewelry?

    Absolutely! Our Certified Jewelers complete repairs using the best stone-setting techniques and by using state of the art LaserStar welding equipment.  These laser welding machines provide the strongest welds and make even the most intricate repairs possible.

  • Do you offer cleaning services?

    We offer complimentary checking and cleaning of your Luckey's Jewelers' pieces, in-store, while you wait.  If your jewelry requires a heavy-duty cleaning, there may be charges incurred.  If you would like to ship a piece for checking or cleaning, please contact us for further assistance.

  • Do you appraise jewelry for insurance purposes?

    Yes, we do!  When you purchase jewelry from Luckey's Jewelers, engagement rings over $1500 include a written, stamped appraisal.  If an appraisal is required and requested for any piece of jewelry purchased of significant value, we would provide that at no charge.  If the item is purchased for less, or if it requires an update as time passes, we charge half of our appraisal fee.  Our appraisal fee for jewelry purchased outside of our store starts at $150.00 per piece. 

  • Can you engrave something on my jewelry?

    We can provide different types of engraving.  One of our more popular services is engraving inside of a wedding ring.  In order to utilize these services, you must add this at the time of adding the piece of jewelry into your cart.  

    Depending on the style of the piece of jewelry, engraving may not be an option.  If the engraving option is not available, but you would like to inquire about adding engraving, please contact us before placing your order.  Have the style number available for us to be able to assist you quickly.

  • Is there a broader selection in your store?

    We have a much broader selection in-store, including thousands of pieces.  It is our goal to continuously add more merchandise to our website, but please contact us at any time if you do not see exactly what you are looking for.  The right thing may be sitting in our showcase, just a call away!

  • Do you offer more loose diamonds than what I see here?

    At Luckey's Jewelers, we have a huge selection of loose diamonds and the availability to get just about anything your heart desires.  We offer the highest quality at low prices!  If you don't see exactly what you are looking for on our website, please contact us at 985-872-3336.

  • Why is my white gold turning yellow?

    White gold jewelry has a coating of rhodium to give the shiny white appearance and protect your white gold. Over time, as the rhodium plating wears off, white gold will naturally start yellowing due to reactions with chemicals and natural acids produced by your skin. We offer rhodium plating to maintain the shiny white appearance of your white gold at $65 per piece.

  • Do you have jewelry with cubic zirconia (CZs)?

    We are known for our high-quality jewelry, but yes we even offer jewelry with CZs.  

    When requested, Luckey's Jewelers uses a high-grade Swarovski Zirconia that is as brilliant as a diamond.  The Pure Brilliance Swarovski Zirconia strictly adheres to the standards for grading diamonds from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).  This is not something you would need to explain to anyone admiring your jewelry, as the untrained eye would not be able to tell the difference!

  • The item I like says "special order". Why do I have to call?

    Special Order items can be something we order through a manufacturer, items that we had in stock at one time and no longer have, or complete custom jewelry.  We need you to call or email us because pricing will vary with current market price, metal choice, and/or size.  Please have the SKU number from our website ready, so we can assist you quicker.

    Please note:

    • Full payment is required to order.
    • Special Orders sales are ineligible for refunds or returns, as they are made to individual's specifications.
    • Quotes are given based on current market and are subject to change if not ordered same day.
    • Custom Jewelry- Please contact us to get your Computer Aided Design (CAD) started!  The design charge starts at $150.00.
    • Most special orders can be delivered to you within 15 working days.
Payments

  • Can I put an item on layaway?

    We currently offer layaway on non-discounted items in-store only.  We are working to provide this as another option for online.

  • Do you have financing options?

    Luckey's Jewelers currently offers in-store financing only.  This is something that we look forward to being able to provide in the near future.

Returns & Shipping

  • What if I want to return what I purchased?

    Had something else in mind?  Luckey’s Jewelers offers a 10-day return policy for a full refund and 30-day return policy for an exchange or a store credit.  

    Shipping time is not included in the 10 or 30 day period.  It begins when your order is delivered to you and is valid until the day that the shipping company receives your return. (Please note that return payments will not be processed until the item is received and inspected by Luckey's Jewelers)  Worn, sized, custom, special orders, or modified jewelry pieces cannot be returned.  For all returns or exchanges, please contact us by email on our “Contact Us” page for a return authorization number.

  • Do I pay the return shipping costs?

    Yes.  You are responsible for arranging and paying for your return shipping.

  • Can I "rush" my return to receive my refund quicker?

    Yes, you may use overnight shipping to send back the piece of jewelry.  You should expect overnight shipping to cost more than ground delivery.

  • Can I return an item that was given to me without the purchaser knowing?

    We can accept the return as an exchange for up to 30 days, of your unworn, unaltered item, and we do not need to notify the original purchaser.

  • Will I be notified through the return process?

    You can always track your shipment, but we will also notify you of when we receive and have throroughly inspected the returned item.

  • I'm giving this as a gift and having it shipped direct. What are my options?

    We can giftwrap the item purchased for no additional charge.  Please specify to us that you would like to utilize this service.
